Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
About Global Wings Reisen: Global Wings Reisen UG arranges flights, campervans and motorhomes, rental cars, hotels, cruises, travel insurance and other travel-related services. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the contract for the respective travel service is concluded directly between the customer and the supplier named in the booking confirmation.
1. Scope of Application
These Terms & Conditions apply to all travel agency and intermediary services provided by Global Wings Reisen UG to its customers.
They apply regardless of whether an enquiry or booking is made through our website, by email, telephone, in person or by any other means of communication.
In addition to these Terms & Conditions, the contractual conditions of the respective airline, tour operator, vehicle rental company, accommodation provider, cruise operator, insurer or other travel supplier shall apply.
2. Our Role as a Travel Intermediary
Global Wings Reisen acts as an independent travel intermediary.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the travel contract is concluded directly between the customer and the respective supplier.
Global Wings Reisen is responsible for arranging the booked services with due care but is not responsible for the actual provision of those services. Responsibility for the travel service rests solely with the respective supplier.
Where Global Wings Reisen acts as the organiser of a package holiday or provides its own travel services, this will be clearly stated in the quotation and booking confirmation.
3. Quotations, Availability and Prices
All quotations and prices are subject to availability until confirmed.
Availability, fares and prices may change before tickets or travel documents have been issued.
Prices are based on information supplied by the respective travel providers. Global Wings Reisen cannot guarantee unchanged prices where suppliers amend fares, taxes, fees, exchange rates or availability.
Obvious pricing or technical errors do not constitute a binding offer.
4. Booking Instructions and Contract Formation
A booking becomes binding once the customer accepts a quotation or authorises Global Wings Reisen to proceed with the reservation.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all passenger names, travel dates and personal details are accurate.
Unless otherwise stated, the contract is concluded once the supplier confirms the booking or tickets, vouchers or other travel documents have been issued.
5. Payments and Service Fees
Payment terms are stated in the quotation, invoice or booking confirmation.
For flights and other immediately issued services, full payment may be required at the time of booking.
Where Global Wings Reisen charges consultation, booking or administration fees, these will always be disclosed before the booking becomes binding.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must check all booking confirmations, tickets, vouchers and invoices immediately upon receipt.
Any discrepancies should be reported without delay.
Passenger names on flight bookings must exactly match the passport used for travel.
Customers are responsible for any costs arising from incorrect information supplied during the booking process.
7. Changes, Rebookings, Cancellations and Refunds
Changes and cancellations are subject to the fare conditions and contractual terms of the respective supplier.
Supplier fees, fare differences and previously agreed service fees may apply.
Refunds can only be processed after the corresponding funds have been received from the supplier.
8. Changes and Disruptions by Suppliers
Airlines and other travel providers may change schedules, routes, accommodation, vehicle types or other travel arrangements.
Global Wings Reisen will forward any significant changes as soon as reasonably possible.
Claims relating to delays, cancellations or service failures must generally be directed to the respective supplier.
9. Travel Insurance
Global Wings Reisen strongly recommends adequate travel insurance.
Depending on the journey, suitable cover may include cancellation insurance, overseas medical insurance, baggage insurance and rental vehicle excess cover.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their chosen insurance meets their individual needs.
10. Passports, Visas and Entry Requirements
Customers are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, travel authorisations, vaccination certificates, driving licences and all other required travel documents.
Information provided by Global Wings Reisen regarding entry requirements is supplied as general guidance only unless specific advisory services have been agreed.
Official information should always be obtained from the relevant authorities.
11. Liability
Global Wings Reisen is liable for the proper performance of its obligations as a travel intermediary.
Global Wings Reisen is not responsible for the services provided by third-party travel suppliers unless it has breached its own contractual obligations.
Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
12. Data Protection
Personal data is processed only where necessary to respond to enquiries, arrange bookings, process payments and comply with legal obligations.
Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.
13. Consumer Dispute Resolution
The former European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025.
Global Wings Reisen is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Where the customer is a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive the customer of any mandatory consumer protection granted by the laws of their country of habitual residence.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
